The Clock
The clock is a useful machine. It tells us time. The clock has a face called dial. There are twelve figures on the dial. It has two hands. One hand is small and the other is big. The small hand shows the hour and the big hand shows the minute. Another type of clock is available now a বারs, which is called digital clock. It is very useful to us. We can not do a single day without the clock.
Flyover
A flyover is a road. It is built on pillars over another road. Only the very big and busy cities have flyover. There are also flyovers in our country. By using flyovers, people can save their time. The Mohakhali flyover is about ১.৮ Kilometers long, it’s width is 1৪.৬৩ meters including the side walls. It is built on ৫1 pillars. The center of the flyover is ৭ meters high from ground. About 136 crore taka was spent to build this flyover.
My School
I read in class five. The name of my school is X Govt. Primary School. It is situated in the middle of the thana. The school is a four storied building. It is a big school in our thana. There is a playground in front of my school. Seven hundred students read in this school. There are thirty teachers in this school. The Headmaster is an M. Com. He is an honest man. The result of our school is very good. The teachers tender us with great care. I am so proud of my school.
My Mother
My mother’s name is Ms. Sultana Razia. She is ৪৫ years old. She is a BA. She teaches in a primary school in Shreepur. After school hours, she works at home. She cooks our food. She also looks after my old grandfather and my little sister. She takes care of our heath and studies. On holiবারs she cooks special dishes for us. She washes the clothes. She keeps the house clean. Sometimes she goes to the market. She also visits relatives. She helps the sick people. In the evening, she watches TV. She spends her free time with us. She remains busy during the whole week. I love my mother very much.

There are two Eids for every Muslim in a year. One is Eid-ul-Fitre and the other a Eid-ul-Azha. After a month’s fasting Eid-ul-Fitre comes. During Eid বার every Muslim goes to Eidgah for Eid prayer. Everybody wears new clothes at Eid day. Every Muslim say ‘Eid Mubarak’ to each other. After the prayer everybody embrace each other. Housewives prepare many special foods as korma, polao, jorda and many other items. Relatives visit each other and exchange greetings. In fact, Eid day is a happy day for every Muslim.

insects. They are very useful for us. They increase the beauty of

A Book Fair
A book fair is a very popular occasion in our country. The largest
book fair the country is held in ফেব্রুয়ারি.BanglaAcademysponsors the
fair at its premises in the capital city. There are many stalls with old
and new publications. The fair remains over-crowded very often. The
children, young and the old gather in the fair to buy books. The
pleasure of visiting a book fair is great. One who has visited a book
fair can never forget it. A book fair promotes the publication of books
to spread knowledge. It also creates the scope of gatherings.
My Class Teacher/ Favourite teacher
I am a student. I read in class five. Mr. Habib is my class teacher.
He is my favourite teacher. He is an MA. He teaches us English. His
teaching method is very interesting and easy. He knows how to make the
lesson interesting to the students. He is an ideal man. He is young
industrious, smart and very intelligent. He guides as our guardian. All
times he gives us good advice. Everybody loves him. The relation of the
students with him is good. We respect him very much.
