Paragraph for PEC Examination

সমাপনী পরীক্ষায় ইংরেজি বিষয়ে paragraph লিখতে হবে ৬০ words থেকে ১০০ words- এর মধ্যে। তা ছাড়া তোমাকে তিন ধরনের paragraph  সম্পর্কে ধারণা রাখতে হবে। সেগুলো হলো : (1) Clue words, (২) Answering Question, (৩) Model Paragraph.  নতুন সিলেবাসের আলোকে তোমাদের জন্য ইংরেজি বিষয় থেকে ৫টি নমুনা paragraph দেয়া হলো।

I have a friend. His name is Abul. He lives in Comilla. He reads in class five. He is  10 years old. He has black hair. His eyes are black. He is always helpful. All of our friends like him. His hobby is playing football. He is very careful about his health. His favorite food is rice, fish and meat. He likes fruits very much. He likes the spring season. He is a witty person too. He often tells jokes and riddles. We talk and spend a lot of time together. He is my best friend. I like him very much.

                                 Myself

My name is Bulbul. I am ten years old. I live in Arambagh,Dhaka. I am a student. I read in class five. The name of my school isAshaPrimary School. My school starts at৭.৩০ AMand finishes at 12.30 PM. I am studying Bangla, English, Mathematics, Social Studies, Science and Religious Studies. I go to school by Richshaw and return home by Richshaw too. I like my school very much because it is a joyful school. My teachers are good. I am proud of my school.

                       My country/Your own Country

The name of our country is Bangladesh. It became independent in 1971.Dhaka is its capital. It is a small country. It’s area is 1,47,570 square kilimeters. But it has a large population. About 140 million people live here. Jack-fruit, banana, mango, pine-apple, guava and water melon are the most common fruits of Bangladesh. Rice, jute, sugar-cane and tea are the main crops of our country.Bangladeshis a peaceful country. People from different communities live here in peace. I love my country very much.

                                A Common Bird inBangladesh

There are different types of birds in our country. Among them the crow, the sparrow, the doel the shalik and the kingfisher are the common. But the crow is the most common bird inBangladeshbecause we can see it everywhere. It is very clever. It is black in colour. It looks ugly. It has a harsh voice. Generally it lives in trees. It feeds on dead animals, dirty and rotten things. It also steals away chickens, fish and pieces of flesh. It is a harmful bird. Yet it does some good to us It keeps our environment clean. So it is useful to us.

                                            My Pet

I have a bird in a cage. My father got it for me from a bird shop. It is a parrot. It has green feathers and a red beak. I call her Mimi. Mimi flies here and there in the house. She likes to stay with me. Every morning she takes a bath and jumps into the tub. Her wings get wet. Then she hops on the bar of the cage. My mother puts her food is the cage. She is learning to talk. She calls me by name. I put it into the cage when I get out. It makes me very sad when I do it. She makes a lot of noise when I come back home. I am very fond of her.
