Street Children
Street children are the children who live in the streets to fend for themselves. Generally they are orphans. Even if they have parents, they have no connection with them. They can not remember the memories of their parents. They are deprived of love and affection of parents and relatives. They support themselves by begging or by collecting left over things. Their way of living is very tragic. He is shelterless. He has no particular living place. He lives and sleeps at the railway station, bus station or in the wagons of train or on the footpath. Sometimes they live in makeshift hut. He can not go to school for poverty. So they are denied the light of education. Sometimes they are to bear physical torture. They do not get proper food. So they suffer from malnutrition and different types of diseases. In the rain they have to get wet and in winter they do not get warm clothes. They are the birds of our society but they are most neglected. Many of us forget that today’s children are tomorrow’s future of the country. We must ensure a happy world for them where they will enjoy their legal rights..
