প্রিয় শিক্ষার্থীরা, আজ অনুশীলনের জন্য ইংরেজি দ্বিতীয় পত্রের Part-A অংশের Transformation of Sentences তুলে ধরলাম। তোমরা কতটুকু শিখেছ, তা অনুধাবন করার জন্য নিজে নিজে চেষ্টা করবে।

(a) Karim is one of the oldest men in the village. (Make it comparative) (b) Though he is old, he is very active. (Make is simple) (c) He always gets up early. (Make it negative) (d) He exercises in order to keep his body fit. (Make it complex) (e) He has always been respected by all. (Make it active)

# Read the following passage and transform the sentences as directed in Brackets.

(a) In order to be healthy we have to take balanced diet. (complex) (b) A balance diet is a food that contains something from each of the three main groups of food. (Simple). These groups are protein, carbohydrate and fat. (c) Protein is the most important food for building our bodies. (Positive). (d) They help us to build new cells as old ones die. (Simple). (e) Carbohyolrate and fat provide us the root of our existence named energy. (Complex).

(a) Everybody believes that education is the backbone of the nation. (Simple). (b) No nation can prosper neglecting education. (Complex). (c) It is more powerful than anything else. (Superlative). (d) Only education gives us the light of knowledge. (Negative). (e) So everybody should realize it and act accordingly (Passive).
Transformation of sentences -এর সঠিক উত্তর: 1. (a) We have to take balanced diet so that wecan be health. or, It we want to be healthy. we have to take a balanced diet everyday.
(b) A balanced diet contains something from each of the three main groups of food. (c) No other food is as important as protein for building our bodies. (d) They help us to build new cells at the death of old ones. (e) Carbohydrate and fat provide us with the root of our existence whose name is energy.
or, These are carbohydrate and fat which provide us the root of our existence named energy.
2. (a) Everybody believes education to be the backbone of a nation. (b) No nation can prosper if it neglects education.
or, A nation which neglects education cannot prosper. (c) It is the most powerful thing. (d) Nothing but education gives us the light of knowledge.(e) So, it should be realized by everybody and act should be done by them accordingly.

(c) After getting the question paper, he should read through it carefully. (Complex). (d) At first glance the questions may seem difficult. (Negative). (e) A student should attempt all the questions so that he may get good marks in the examination. (Simple).

(a) Cox’s Bazar is the longest sea-beach in the world. (Positive). (b) Everyone knows this (interrogative). (c) Tourists from home and abroad come to visit this beach every year. (Compound). (d) They come here to enjoy themselves. (Complex). (e) Our government is going to take some steps to make it more attractive (Passive).

(a) She never thought that she should see me again (Simple). (b) The earth being round, we met again (Compound). (c) I Recognize her at the first glance and helped her recognize me (Simple). (d) She was pleased to remember our first a acquaintance (Complex). (e) We celebrated our school meeting (Passive).
