Read the passage carefully and answer the questions following it:
One morning Salam’s Father spoke to him, ‘look after the shop, salam. It’s only for five minutes.’ Salam was happy. Now he was a shopkeeper just like his father.
A man came to salam’s shop. He was very short, but his wife was very tall. Their daughter was also with them. ‘My daughter’s got a bad headache’, the man said.
‘Have you got any tablets?’ ‘I also want some toothpaste, daddy’, said his daughter. Salam found some tablets and gave them to the man. ‘That’s 40 take’, he said. ‘Look at that man’, said the daughter. ‘What man?’ asked her father. ‘He took a box of soap and went out of the shop. He didn’t pay for anything. He must be a thief.’
Salam looked. ‘Yes’, Said Salam. ‘There was a box of soap there before. Who took it? I didn’t see.’ ‘The man was wearing a vest, a lungi and was very thin’, said the daughter. ‘Was he young?’ asked Salam. ‘Yes’, replied the daughter. ‘He was about sixteen or seventeen.’ ‘Then I know him’, Said Salam.’ It wasn’t a thief.
