Mrs. Jamila Akhter is a shop assistant. She works in shifts in a department store in Chittagong. So, she doesn’t have to go at the same time everyday. One day Ms Nafisa, the English teacher, came into the class.
“You’ve already learned about a full stop, a comma, a semicolon, a question mark and a dash. Haven’t you”
She asked the class.
“Yes, teacher,” was the reply.
Ms Nafisa then drew a short line (-) on the blackboard and asked the class, “What’s this short line called?”
