Dialogue for HSC Exam

Make a dialogue between two friends about a picnic.
Rana : Hello Romel! I have heard that you went on a picnic. How did you enjoy yourself ?
Romel : Yes, from our college we went on a picnic to Sonargaon.
Rana : When did you go?
Romel : We went last Monday.
Rana : How many people went there?
Romel : Including teachers we were total 5oo people. We hired six buses and started our journey at7 am. It took 3 hours to reach Sonargaon. We ourselves cooked our food.
Rana : What did you cook?
Romel : We cooked biriani and mutton curry.
Rana  : What did you see?
Romel : Sonargaon is a historical place. Once it was the capital ofBengal. There are some relics which attracted me much. There is a museum and we also visited it.
Rana : Have you taken snaps?
Romel : Yes, we have taken a lot of snaps. Please come to my home and I will show you them.
Rana : Thank you. Good bye.
Romel : Good bye.
5. Make a dialogue between two friends on the advantage and disadvantage of village life and city life.
Karim : Hello, Rahim? What will you do during the summer vacation?
Rahim : I will go to my native village to spend the vacation.
Karim : Why ? Let’s stay inDhaka. We shall visit many places ofDhakatogether during this vacation.
Rahim : Oh! No, I have become bored living inDhaka.
Karim : Why are you fed up with city life?
Rahim : Life in the city has become difficult. It is full of pollutions. In the city air is polluted and it is not possible to take fresh breath. There is also noise pollution. Besides, here people are too much busy. Nobody has time to talk. Everybody is busy with their own business. All have become robots.
Karim : I see, you have become too much dissatisfied with city life.
Rahim : Yes, I have. If you go to market you will not get any fresh vegetables like village but they are too expensive.
Karim : But you can not deny the advantage of city life. In the cities you can get modern facilities. There are good hospitals where you can get proper treatment. There are many good schools, colleges and universities. Transport system is also developed.

Rahim : I do not disagree with you.
Karim : Do you think that village life is always full of blessings? You will not get the facilities in the village that are available in the cities.
Rahim : Yes, you are right. So we can say that city life and village life both have advantages and disadvantages.
Karim : Yes, this is the fact. Thank you.
Rahim : Thank you, too.
6. Make a dialogue between you and manager to open a bank account.
I : May I come in, Sir?
Manager: Yes, come in. Have your seat.
I : Thank you very much.
Manager: What can I do for you?
I : I have come here to open a bank account. Can you tell me what I should do?
Manager: What kind of account do you like to open, savings or current?
I : Savings account.
Manager: Ok. Here is an application form. Fill it up. Next you should be introduced by a person who has a savings account with the bank. He will put his signature and write his address and account number in the application form. Here is a signature card. You have to give your specimen signature on it and attach two passport size photographs which must be attested by your introducer.
I : How much money will I have to deposit at first?
Manager: You will have to deposit Tk.1000/- at first.
I : Ok. I am coming tomorrow after having everything got ready. Thank you for your help.
Manager : You are welcome.

সাধারণত Adjective এর comparative degree এর পূর্বে The বসে না কিন্তু যত-তত Comparative degree বুঝাতে এর পূর্বে The বসে। যেমনঃ

কোন Common Noun দ্বারা Superlative এর গুরুত্ব বুঝালে a /an বসে না বরং The বসে।

Shakira is the singer of the day.

Adjective দ্বারা সমগ্র জাতি বার বিশেষ কোন সমপ্রদায় বুঝালে তার পূর্বে The বসে। যেমনঃ

We should not look down upon the poor are happy. The rich are not always happy. The pious are blessed.

কোন কিছুর অংশ বুঝাতে Adjective এর পূর্বে The বসে। যেমনঃ

He entered into the thick of the forest.

কোন Common noun দ্বারা Abstract বা গুনগত আদর্শ বুঝাতে তার পূর্বে The বসে। যেমনঃ

Seeing the sonsy baby the mother rose in her. Everybody loves the brave of the country.

কোন Proper Noun এর পূর্বে Epithet থাকলে ঐ Epithet টির পূর্বে বা Noun টির পর The বসে। যেমনঃ

Alexander the great was a famous warrior.

Material noun এর পূর্বে the বসে না কিন্তু কোন নির্দিষ্ট স্থানের বা নির্দিষ্ট প্রকারের পদার্থ বুঝালে material noun এর পূর্বে the বসে। যেমনঃ

The water of this glass is not pure. The gold of South Africa is precious. The perfume of France is praiseworthy.

Choir, orchestra এবং pop group এর পূর্বে the বসে। যেমনঃ

Nowadays the Miles is a very popular band in Bangladesh.

কতিপয় collective noun আছে যারা স্বভাবতই plural এদের পূর্বে the বসে। যেমনঃ

The elite enjoy the privilege of the State. The audience applauded the singer.

Musical instrument যখন বাজানো অর্থে ব্যবহূত হয় তখন এর পূর্বে the বসে। যেমনঃ

Nazmussehar can play the piano sonorously.

সংখ্যা প্রকাশক word একটা unit অর্থে বসলে তার পূর্বে the বসে। যেমনঃ

He sells mangoes by the hundred / by hundreds [not by the hundreds, dozens, scores]

Adjective যুক্ত কতিপয় proper noun বা noun + preposition + proper noun বা noun এর পূর্বে the বসে। যেমনঃ

The National Zoo at Mirpur is visited everyday by thousands of people. The fort of Lalbagh is a place of historical interest in Bangladesh.

Omission of Article

Proper noun এর পূর্বে Article বসেনা। যেমনঃ

X Mr. Mainuddin lived in x Khagrachhary.

মনে রাখতে হবে Article কেবলমাত্র Noun এর পূর্বেই বসে। অন্য কোন Parts of speech এর পূর্বে বসেনা। যদি বসে তবে দেখবে যে ঐ শব্দটির পর অবশ্যই Noun একটি আছে। যেমনঃ

Sakib Al Hasan is a great all rounder in the arena of world cricket. He is x honest. He is a good student.

কোন Noun এর পূর্বে Possessive adjective (his, her, my, our, their, your, its, Ratul's, Shahed's, Fardin's) থাকলে এদের পূর্বে বা পরে কোথাও Article বসেনা। যেমনঃ This is a book. The book is x his. This is his x book.

Demonstrative pronoun [this, that, these, those, such] এর পূর্বে বা পরে যেদিকেই খালিঘর থাকুক কোন article বসেনা। কারণ এরা প্রত্যেকেই article এর কাজ করে। যেমনঃ Give me that x pen, please. Give me your x pen.

কোন Noun এর পূর্বে Adjective থাকলে Article টি Adjective এর পূর্বে বসে। যদি Adjective পরে বসে এবং Noun এর পূর্বে আবার খালিঘর থাকে তবে ঐ খালিঘরে Article বসে না । যেমনঃ He is an honest man. Dialogue for HSC Examination

1. Make a dialogue between two friends about visit to a historical place.
Rita : Hello! Rana, have you ever visited any historical place?
Rana : Yes, I visited Bagerhat.
Rita :When did you visit?
Rana : Last year our college arranged a study tour in Bagerhat and I joined the tour.
Rita : Why have you chosen Bagerhat for your study tour?
Rana : Bagerhat has historical importance. It is one of the oldest cities ofBangladesh. Khan Jahan Ali founded it and he established many mosques here. Shat-Gambuj-Mosque is one of them. Our college arranged this tour to give us a clear picture about this historical city.
Rita : What did you see there?
Rana : We visited the famous Shat-Gambuj-Mosque. It is a big and beautiful mosque. It stands on sixty stone pillars. But you will be surprised to know that though the mosque is called shat ( sixty) gambuj it has seventy seven domes.
Rita : Really, it’s surprising! What have you seen more?
Rana : We also visited the majar of Khan Jahan Ali. The tomb is made of cut out stones. There is a big tank in front of the majar. The local people call it Ghora Dighi.
Rita : I think you are really lucky because you got a nice opportunity to visit such a nice place.
Rana : Yes, I think so and I feel proud that our country has such a beautiful historical place.
If you have time, you should also visit the place.
2. Make a dialogue between two friends about the importance of learning English.
Rita : Hello, Rana! What has happened? You look worried.
Rana : Yes, I am worried about my English. I am weak in English. But it is not possible for me to get a good job without good English.
Rita : Yes, you are right. Importance of English is increasing day by day. At present global world English is must. It is necessary for communication around the world. It helps the business community. The man who knows English can expand his business.
Rana : Yes, I agree with you. Besides, today all job advertisements seek for English knowing people. English helps to get good jobs and better salaries.
Rita : English is also needed for higher education. My cousin, Kona who is good at English went toLondonlast month to study computer science. All the books of higher education are written in English. If you do not know English it is not possible for you to be highly educated.
Rana : You are absolutely right. The importance of English in our life is so great that we can’t neglect it.
Rita : So try hard. Then you will be able to learn English. Best of luck.

3. Make a dialogue between a customer and a book seller on buying books.
Book seller: Good morning. How can I help you, sir?
Customer: I am looking for a book on Indian Music.
Book seller: Would you please tell me who wrote the book?
Customer: Yes, it was written by Pandit Ram Kumar Sharma.
Book seller: Please wait for a moment. I am bringing the book.
Customer: OK
Book seller: Here is the book.
Customer:  Thanks. But the book looks old. Can you show me another copy of it?
Book seller: Sorry sir, I have a single copy.
Customer: OK. How much does it cost?
Book seller: Five hundred taka.
Customer: Here is the money.

Majority, minority, people, public, police, first, second, third- ইত্যাদি শব্দ Sentence এর শুরুতে বসলে এদের পূর্বে The বসে। যেমনঃ

কোন তুলনা করা হলে যার সাথে তুলনা করা হয় তার পূর্বে The বসে। যেমনঃ

দুইয়ের মাঝে তুলনা বুঝাতে comparative degree এর ক্ষেত্রে adjective এর পূর্বে The বসে। যেমনঃ
