The traders and shopkeepers open ‘Halkhata and offer sweets to their customers and clients. People wear traditional dress on this day. The Bengalese celebrates this day as a tradition. This day has great significance. The whole nation comes closer on this day. We have the chance to find out cultural identity. The celebration of Pahela Baishakh is an inseparable part of our culture.
